Weather Service Updates: January 23 – January 28, 2026
Due to weather conditions, Loudoun Hunger Relief will be closed completely on Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27 with no service in Sterling, and no office staffing (so no one will be answering phones).
If you have an appointment for Jan. 28-31, please continue to check the LHR website for weather closings or changes to service. We will also attempt to contact you if your appointment will be impacted by weather, so please watch your text and email messages.
We will be opening special walk-up, emergency services on the following days:

Our Emergency Food Services provide pre-packaged emergency food to individuals and families in need. No appointment is required. Please note that emergency services are not in-market shopping and do not allow clients to select individual items.
In the event that extreme weather conditions do not continue, we will open for our normal appointment hours on Wednesday, January 28. Please log into Smartchoice to view our available appointment times.
